Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 16 June, 2013: DORMA Gulf, the regional arm of the key global player in door technology sector with a century old legacy, today received the prestigious ISO 9001:2008 certification at an event held at the newly opened flagship DORMA showroom “The World of Access” on Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai attended by Mr. Brian Baxter, Service Delivery Manager of Lloyds Register Quality Assurance. The certification of DORMA Gulf represents a milestone in DORMA’s 40 year long presence in the region whereby DORMA products are installed in most of the prestigious projects in the region such as Burj Khalifa, Mall of the Emirates, and Dubai Metro.
The ISO certification holds prominence given the robust rebound in the region’s construction sector that is attracting foreign investments in the recent times. The UAE government’s stand to safeguard the end user’s interest has given a wider scope to compliance with international standards in construction activities and highlights the need to improve fire safety and building security in the country. In fact, DORMA’s ISO certification provides the highest world-class standards in supply chain management in-line with DORMA’s 2020 vision to be the preferred customer choice. It is also an organic reflection of DORMA’s unique R&D and certified quality management systems.

With the Bronze medal certification, DORMA Gulf will now focus on achieving Silver status in its next level of certification.
