Recognition for DORMA exhibition stand at BAU 2013

On November 7, DORMA received the ADAM Award in bronze for its exhibition stand in the “XL” category (up to 1500 square meters). This accolade – conferred annually by an independent jury – is in recognition of DORMA’s trade show concept implemented at this year’s BAU in Munich, Germany, under the slogan “From Today to Tomorrow.”

The jury was particularly impressed by the booth’s clarity of purpose and audience-aligned design: “Visible from afar is the red cube which envelops the ‘Innovation Box’ on the first floor while also providing the culmination and a highlight of each visitor’s stand experience.” The booth was specifically designed with fair visitors’ communication requirements in mind. These were met in full by the inclusion of a “Media Plaza”. And the jury’s verdict: “Modern and open.”

“We are particularly delighted to have received an ADAM Award. It provides further confirmation of our effective brand management approach, as also reflected by the spontaneous responses of our customers at the trade fair itself”, commented Mario Dreismann, Vice President Group Marketing & Sales at DORMA. “Our appearance at BAU in Munich was a major milestone in the successful realignment of our brand as part of the DORMA 2020 vision and growth strategy. We owe a debt of gratitude to the entire project team”, he added. In April this year, DORMA also received the n-tv award for SMEs, Hidden Champion, in the “Brand” category.

About the ADAM Award

The ADAM Award was introduced in 2001 by the German Association of Direct Business Communication FAMAB to honour exceptional brand positioning and exhibition stand design. This year’s awards were conferred for projects implemented between January 1, 2012 and June 30, 2013.
