Ennepetal, 3 November 2016. dormakaba will be amongst the exhibitors at the BAU 2017 trade fair, set to be held on 16–21 January 2017 in Munich, promoting itself as a strong partner for smart, secure access solutions with an extensive portfolio of door-related products.
Having only been formed recently, the company will be showcasing a wide range of innovative products with the slogan 'See the future. Now.', including a brand-new generation of door closers, novel mechanical and electronic fittings, a fully automatic dividing wall system, an innovative access system and a smart wireless solution for automatic doors.
With one closing unit suitable for all assembly types, the latest generation of door closers features fewer different versions, is more straightforward to assemble and offers increased flexibility on site. This new generation features the multi-award-winning XEA design, meaning that not only can the closer be used as a design element, it can also be easily combined with other products in the dormakaba range with the same design, such as door or glass fittings or catch systems.
This is possible now that dormakaba is introducing the G-EMR UBIVIS as the first battery-operated catch system with the XEA design to match the new door closers. The new OGRO mechanical door fitting is also designed to match with plates and rosettes in keeping with the XEA design for seamless integration into MATRIX AIR installations. The impressive new electronic fitting solutions also offer an elegant design combined with a wide range of functions.
The fully automatic Variflex ComfortDrive dividing wall system with excellent sound insulation is another new addition, which can be operated with ease at the press of a button.
Representing 'Access Control as a Service', a web-based access solution will also be on display, aimed at small- and medium-sized businesses hoping to find a managed solution and looking to simplify their IT set-up.
On top of all that, dormakaba will also be presenting a wireless module that can be retrofitted onto automatic sliding and swing doors, as well as an innovative new smartphone app, set to make door operation and use much smarter.
