MBB Gelma Fingerprint Sensor

for maximum anti-tamper protection

Ennepetal. At Security 2004, MBB Gelma will be presenting its new fingerprint sensor in a series version that is available with immediate effect.
The new sensor uses a thermal line scanner, which offers significantly higher anti-tamper reliability as compared with optical surface scanners. With this thermal process capable of registering even the tiniest temperature differences, the subject is also immediately identified as dead or alive.

Its slimline case, which can be integrated within the widely applied System 55 range of switches and outlets, only protrudes to a minimum degree and is integrated within two device boxes. The unit can be equipped with different reader types, i.e. it can be supplied not only with the Legic reader but also with Hitag or Mifare readers as well.
