Expo 2000 - Hungary pavilion

Hungary pavilion

The building design by Hungarian architect György Vadász opens like a blossoming flower. The arc-shaped shells clad in red spruce create rooms without walls or barriers. Access is provided by eight automatic doors from DORMA.

Prominent Features

Here a special solution had to be developed that was in keeping with the overall design. The doors needed to be installed at an angle with a floor guide, and also had to operate with absolute functional reliability. Many further DORMA products can be found in the pavilion, which consists of two separate sections. Six HSW sliding glass partitions, five unframed toughened glass double door sets with special BTS 84 double action floor springs, and five RS 120 toughened glass sliding door systems.
