Euskalduna Congressional Palace

The Euskalduna Congressional Palace is built on the old lot that used to be a historical shipyard with the same name. The architects wanted to remind us of that time, and the facade that looks towards the Nervion River looks like the cross section of a petroleum refinery, finishing in Cortend steel.

This building is one of the most representative of the plans to recreate both banks of the Nervion River in Bilbao, having been in a very deteriorated state due to its heavy industrial use. It is located only one kilometer from the famous Guggenheim Museum.

Among other facilities, it has an Auditorium with room enough for 2,164 people, different stages and conference rooms with an exposition hall of more than 2,000 m2.
