No, a control unit is mandatory for ensuring correct operability.
Use the Allen key provided in order to undo the grub screw located in the side of the lock case at the level of the trip latch, and then rotate the trip latch to the correct handing.
Terminals 23 and 28 on X2 must be closed via a floating contact. As long as the contact is closed, the lock remains disengaged.
The black wire is connected to ground, the white to 12V DC and the red is connected via a floating contact to black (ground).
Either the door contact is not closed with the SVP in its locked state, or the gap between the forend and the strike plate is more than 5.5 mm, or the feedback signal via conductor 49 is not functioning.
The address must be set to LON mode (dip switch 1 at ON). Set to this position with the system switched off.
Either via terminals 1 and 3 with 24VDC, or via X1 with 12VDC.
The door contact is not operating properly or none is provided and terminals 3 and 18 are not jumpered.
a) The locking time has expired and the door is still open or is otherwise unable to lock. Or b) The lock is active but the red feedback signal wire (terminal 4) has been interrupted => check wire
A DCW component has been disabled or an address has been changed. Disconnect the power, hold the red pushbutton down, reinstate the power and release the pushbutton.
The inputs must be live. The opto-couplers operate at a voltage of 5-30 V DC.
The TL-S5 does not offer this function.
RS232: After programming-in the door during the initialisation phase, click on the button "(Neue Türadresse) New Door Address". Check the jumpers on the PC adapter.
LON: In the PC communications window "(Aktion/Datenbank trennen) Separate Action/Database", change settings to PC card or LON gateway. After programming-in the door during the initialisation phase, click on the button "(Neue LON-Adresse) New LON Address".
