DORMA Electric Strikes for Emergency Exits

The TV 500 electronic keep for emergency exits combines the benefits of a standard electric strike with those of an electro-mechanical door locking device and is therefore suitable for use on fi re and smoke check doors as well as doors in emergency exits and escape routes. Concealed installation in the door frame not only enhances the visual appearance of the door, it also makes the TV 500 less susceptible to tamper and vandalism.

Features
  • Adjustable strike latch
  • Integrated checkback contacts for monitoring active/inactive and open/closed status
  • Optional flanged strike plates – angled for over-rebated doors or standard flat designs for flush-closing doors
  • Optional Easy Adapt latch guide/keeper
  • Load-independent, jam-free unlocking and release; satisfies the holding force requirements of Germany’s EltVTR regulations governing electrical locking systems on escape route doors (issued by the DIBt)
  • Energy-saving power consumption of just 58 mA
  • Available with ratings of 12 V DC and 24 V DC
Ideal for operation in DORMA TMS and emergency exit control systems

The TV 500 electronic keep can also be supplied with integrated DORMA DCW system bus technology, making it ideal for operation in DORMA TMS and emergency exit control systems.
