A perfect place in history, art and leisure
The Royal Residence of La Granja exterior view
The new Royal Residence of La Granja, comes from the rehabilitation of two historic buildings: the Infant House and the Civil Guard barracks, both erected by Charles III.
The first, where the rooms have been installed, was used by the servants of destined to servitude of the king's two sons, Gabriel and Antonio de Borbón and Saxony. Jobs of the restoration and habilitation to their new uses have been long and arduous, resulting in a space that celebrates the rationality of the original project, its light and its raw materials.
The facades of the former Civil Guard barracks have been preserved to install an inside lounge, restaurant and auditorium.
The proximity of such privileged accommodation, just 12 kilometers from the city of Segovia, World Heritage city full of life and culture, and the rich natural landscapes that surround it make the enclave the perfect starting point for a multitude of recreational activities.
This time, DORMA has contributed to the rehabilitation of this historic complex, with the installation of two STG automatic doors and a TST telescopic door, as well as
different door closers systems, both in the Royal Residence and the Convention and Congress Center.
All of them are Premium Solutions that have added value to this unique project.
