In downtown Minneapolis, Ryan Construction led a renovation project that transformed a vacant historical landmark into a 4-star Westin Hotel and restaurant —giving new life to the old Farmers & Mechanics Savings Bank building. Shoehorning a modern, fully featured hotel with all the expected amenities into an existing footprint with little or no leeway for expansion was a daunting challenge.
It seemed a good idea to Tim Dixon, owner/developer of the Iron Horse Hotel in downtown Milwaukee: create an upscale hotel that mingles “business suits and biker leathers.” His good idea became reality when Dixon renovated and preserved a neglected 100-year old brick warehouse with a close-up view of the spectacular new Harley Davidson Museum.

The complex includes a hotel, congress facilities, restaurants, and shopping and leisure zones.
With its sensational architecture, the four-star Radisson SAS hotel has become a new landmark of the financial metropolis and exhibition city that is today’s Frankfurt. The gigantic disc structure in discrete blue between which the glass cubes of the structure are sandwiched can be viewed from miles away.
The ideas of three creative minds have been harmoniously combined in a new designer hotel of the five-star category - the Hamburg SIDE. The ingenious plans of Jan Störmer Architects of Hamburg, Matteo Thun, Milano and Robert Wilson, New York have also been recently recognised through the award of the 2002 Architectural Prize.
Opened in 2008, the four-star business hotel was constructed next to Stuttgart’s airport terminal according to the plans of Braunschweig architects Reichel&Stauth.
