Discrete DORMA glass fittings in the villa
The villa in Hechendorf on Pilsensee lake south-west of Munich was completed in 2007 and impresses both for its stark, geometric architecture and the technical features incorporated within it. It was specifically designed for energy-efficiency with an annual primary heat requirement of less than 60 kWh/m2.
Where the strict language of form is in the foreground, DORMA is the ideal partner to integrate with the universal fittings a discrete subdivision. The stairway projecting from the wall has been deliberately “showcased” behind roomhigh glass panelling in which a glass door with discrete Universal fittings from DORMA is integrated.
