Under the banner slogan "Access to Safety & Security" the company from Ennepetal in North-Rhine Westphalia is showcasing its most important product solutions in a wide variety of applications – from simple office solutions to complex applications in security-relevant areas. Among the highlights on display will be the new product family MATRIX AIR and also the MATRIX access control software platform, which has now been extended to include time and attendance recording.
"Electronic access solutions are becoming increasingly important in the building, real estate and facility management sector," states Dr Georg Oschmann, Director Time & Access Solutions DORMA Germany. "We at DORMA offer a broad, tried-and-tested portfolio of time and access data recording products that we shall be showing to visitors in Essen in a number of different application areas. And with our new MATRIX AIR product line we now have the latest generation of electronic door fittings, readers and cylinders in our product range that combine state-of-the-art technology with multi-award-winning design."
At the center of this year’s presence is the new MATRIX AIR product line. This versatile range comprises a wide array of electronic door fittings, readers and lock cylinders. The MATRIX AIR design exhibits clearly defined, slender lines, with wireless installation ensuring a discreet appearance. As the shallowest electrical module of its kind, the multi-award-winning MATRIX AIR is especially suited to prestigious buildings.
The DORMA XS Pro series and MATRIX software platform are available for the creation of complex, networked solutions for emergency exits and escape routes, access control, time data recording, anti-intruder security, and fire prevention, protection and control. MATRIX is a highly advanced software platform, created to control and manage access events and processes both in buildings and around their periphery. When combined with fittings, readers and cylinders of the XS Pro series, it enables the configuration of access control and time data acquisition systems that are scalable to virtually any security requirement and application size.
DORMA will also be giving insights into its new DCF 369 mechatronic locking system. This is due to be available at the end of this year and can be combined with various versions of DORMA mechanical lock cylinders.
On the service side, trade firms will also be able to talk to representatives of the DORMA System Partners scheme who will also be present at the booth. The DORMA System Partners program has been in existence for over 14 years now as an open network of 700 installers, fabricators and contractors from various sectors operating under the auspices of the DORMA brand. Around 120 of the companies are specialists in electrical and security technology.
