DORMA Days Offers Two Days of Industry Education

New York, NY - DORMA’s Design Center will host two solid days of AIA / CEU-HSW-accredited learning on November 18 and 19. As 2015 draws to a close, DORMA Days will provide the opportunity to earn valuable continuing education credits to anyone in the architectural field who needs them by the end of the year. If you’re an architect or construction manager who needs credits to renew your license or continue membership in AIA, or if you simply want to expand your knowledge, DORMA Days is for you.


With two full days of twelve AIA-approved one-credit courses to choose from, attendees can earn up to twelve learning units. All courses will be presented at DORMA’s Design Center in New York City located at 1040 Avenue of the Americas, 22nd Floor. They will cover a range of topics including: evolving specifications, ADA, security & safety, glass fabrication and design issues, and others.


Among the course instructors are leading industry experts including:

  • Arnie Kravitz, CSI – Director, Architectural Services, DORMA USA
  • Chris Freeman – Senior Product Trainer, DORMA USA
  • Gary McQueen – Sales and Architectural Representative, J. E. Berkowitz, LP
  • Nathan Patrick – Regional Sales Manager, DORMA USA
  • Srikanth Puttagunta – Senior Building Systems Engineer, Steven Winter Associates
  • David Stutzman, AIA, CSI, CCS, SCIP – President, Conspectus, Inc.


The event and all courses are free of charge. Certificates will be presented immediately after each session. DORMA will also provide complimentary breakfast, lunch, and snacks on both days to anyone attending.
